Nothing screams summertime more than driving with your windows down, hair blowing in the breeze, sunglasses on, and belting songs at the top of your lungs. So in honor of my favorite season (that I think has begun rather it's official or not) here's a new weekly blog post ... The Wednesday Lineup

10-simple and fun dates for the Summertime

10. Get to moving. Go on a walk around your campus, a park, gardens, etc. The sunshine is out later and you can catch a beautiful sunset if you get lucky.

9. Take a hike! Being in Knoxville, the mountains surround us so nothing beats spending your day in such fresh air.

8. Fishing ... yes, with a rod & reel. You can try and make her kiss a fish or two. She will give you a funny face, but it'll be a story to share later on.

7. Water Fun ... lake, pool, ocean - whatever you've got access to! Hit it up and hit it up often.

6. Ice cream! (ps - Sonic has shakes half-price after 8pm)

5. THE ZOO ... okay maybe I'm a tad bias because it is one of my favorite places

4. Throw-up an Eno and just be bums - at night to watch for starts or in the middle of the day

3. Find a new restaurant and try it together.

2. Attend an outdoors concert series. We have concerts in my town square at sunset or later. They are always great bands to listen, to. So plan ahead and find a great band and go dancing!

1. Lastly, go for a drive ... sing at the top of your lungs, find a spot, and enjoy the person next to you!
